About KW4TR

Everything Fourth. Stories • Places • Food • People. Celebrating Cebu’s 4th District.

KW4TR is a local digital publication dedicated to exploring Cebu’s 4th District through the places, people, food, culture, businesses, and stories that make Northern Cebu unique. From Bogo City and the mainland communities of Northern Cebu to Bantayan Island, we look at the district through a local lens and share the things that make these communities worth discovering.

We believe there is always something worth discovering close to home. It might be a small restaurant serving an unforgettable meal, a café becoming a new local hangout, a place you've passed a hundred times without noticing, a business built from a simple idea, or a person whose story deserves to be heard.

KW4TR is about those discoveries.

We cover places, food, people, and stories across the Fourth District. That means exploring destinations and local spots, discovering restaurants and food traditions, meeting entrepreneurs and community personalities, and documenting the culture, history, events, and everyday moments that shape life in Northern Cebu.

But KW4TR isn't meant to be just another directory or list of places to visit. We want to go beyond the surface. We are interested in the stories behind the places, the people behind the businesses, the food behind the recommendations, and the communities behind the destinations.

Our coverage extends across the communities that make up Cebu’s 4th District, including Bogo City, Tabuelan, San Remigio, Daanbantayan, Medellin, Tabogon, Santa Fe, Bantayan, and Madridejos. Each community has its own identity, history, traditions, businesses, flavors, and stories—and together they make up a part of Cebu that deserves to be seen and celebrated.

The name KW4TR, pronounced “Kwatro,” is a play on the idea of Fourth and our focus on Cebu’s 4th District. It's short, local, and intentionally simple—a name for a publication built around a particular place and the people who call it home.

KW4TR grew from a love for telling local stories. Our journey began with Bogophoria, a platform focused on Bogo City. KW4TR takes that same community-first spirit and expands the conversation across the entire Fourth District.

We want to document the familiar and discover the unexpected. We want to introduce readers to places they may not have noticed, food they may not have tried, people they may not have met, and stories they may not have heard.

Most of all, we want KW4TR to become a place where the Fourth District can see itself reflected—and where people from outside the district can discover what makes it special.

This is KW4TR.

Everything Fourth.

Stories. Places. Food. People.

Celebrating Cebu’s 4th District, one story at a time.
