What Is Cebu’s 4th District?
Cebu’s 4th District brings together Bogo City and eight municipalities: Tabuelan, San Remigio, Daanbantayan, Medellin, Tabogon, Santa Fe, Bantayan, and Madridejos. (Cebu Province)
It is a part of Cebu that stretches from mainland communities to the islands of Bantayan, bringing together places with very different identities while sharing a common connection to the province’s northern communities.
The district is home to communities known for agriculture, fishing, tourism, local enterprise, food, culture, and everyday life.
In 2026, the Province of Cebu’s Our Cebu Expo brought the Fourth District together to showcase its products, delicacies, tourism offerings, and local identity — from Bantayan seafood and buwad to Bogo’s pintos, Tabogon’s produce, and tourism offerings from communities across the district. That variety is exactly what makes the Fourth District worth exploring.
Bogo City
At the heart of the district is Bogo City, one of Cebu’s northern urban centers.
Bogo has its own character, history, food, businesses, celebrations, and communities that make it more than simply a stop along the way.
For KW4TR, Bogo is also where our story began.
Before KW4TR, there was Bogophoria — a platform dedicated to telling the stories of Bogo City.
KW4TR carries that same community-first spirit forward, but with a much wider lens.
Daanbantayan
Further north is Daanbantayan, a municipality whose name is closely associated with some of northern Cebu’s best-known coastal and island destinations.
But there is more to Daanbantayan than the destinations that already appear on travel itineraries.
Its communities, food, local businesses, traditions, coastline, and everyday stories are all part of the bigger picture.
KW4TR wants to explore that side too.
Medellin
Medellin is another community with a story that goes beyond a name on a map.
From local businesses and food to agriculture, coastal communities and the people who call the municipality home, Medellin represents another piece of the Fourth District’s identity.
There is always more to discover when you look beyond the usual tourist list.
San Remigio
Known for its coastline and growing tourism scene, San Remigio offers another perspective on northern Cebu.
Its beaches, resorts, food, community events, local businesses, and people all contribute to the character of the municipality.
For KW4TR, places like San Remigio are opportunities to tell stories that are both useful to visitors and meaningful to locals.
Tabuelan
Tabuelan is a quieter part of northern Cebu, with a character shaped by its coastal communities, natural surroundings, local businesses, and people.
It is the kind of place where discovering the destination can be as much about the journey and the community as it is about the final stop.
And those are exactly the stories we want to tell.
Tabogon
On the northeastern side of mainland Cebu is Tabogon, another community with its own local products, landscapes, food, businesses, and traditions.

Bantayan

Santa Fe
Santa Fe is one of the most recognizable gateways to Bantayan Island and has developed a strong tourism identity of its own.
Its beaches, accommodations, restaurants, businesses, activities, and local communities have helped make it one of the most visited areas in the district.
But even familiar destinations have stories that can still surprise us.
KW4TR will look beyond the postcard.
Madridejos
On the northern side of Bantayan Island is Madridejos.
Its fishing communities, local food, traditions, people, and coastal character offer another perspective on island life.
For visitors who know Bantayan Island mainly through its most popular destinations, Madridejos offers a chance to see another side of the island.
And for locals, there are stories here that deserve a bigger audience.
